Old, Used, Borrowed and Abused Safety Seat Round-Up
AAA Tidewater Virginia along with our community partners--Drive Safe Hampton Roads, Wal-Mart, DMV, Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughters, TFC Recycling, WVEC TV-13, and Hoffman Beverage--are teaming up with the community to remove old, used, borrowed, and abused child safety seats.
During the month of February, all Hampton Roads residents will be able to drop off their worn out child safety seats at all Southside and Peninsula Wal-Mart Supercenters, Hampton Roads area DMV Customer Service Centers, and AAA Tidewater Virginia branches on the Southside and Peninsula. Wal-Mart will provide a $5 reward for each safety seat (limit 2 per person) by giving gift cards to those who turn in their safety seats. The materials from the old safety seats will be recycled in an effort to help save the environment.
