Calling All High School Seniors!
The 2012 J. Theron "Tim" Timmons Scholarship application process is open!
We're pleased to announce the J. Theron "Tim" Timmons Scholarship for 2012 at AAA Tidewater Virginia. The scholarship, in the amount of $5,000, will be awarded to a graduating high school senior. Complete information about this year's application process and forms is available online at AAA.com/Scholarship. Applications must be postmarked by April 15, 2012.
Submission Requirements Include:
- Parents/legal guardians are members of AAA Tidewater Virginia
- A minimum grade point average of 3.0
- Two letters of recommendation
- 500 word essay on how the student plans to use their education
- Financial need must be demonstrated
- Scholarship award must be used at any accredited institution of higher learning in the Commonwealth of Virginia
Applications will also be available through your local high school guidance office, in addition to being available online at AAA.com/Scholarship.
